During this guided nighttime excursion, you will have the opportunity to observe these fascinating marine reptiles in their natural habitat while learning about their behaviour and conservation.
Our knowledgeable local guides provide detailed information about turtle biology and the ongoing protection efforts on the island.
How the Tour Works
Departure
Pickup from major hotels on the island between 18:15 and 18:30, including:

The Main Experience
Observe loggerhead sea turtles (Caretta caretta) as they come ashore to lay their eggs in the sand.
Guides explain turtle behaviour and nesting habits.
âš Flash photography is strictly prohibited to avoid disturbing the animals.
Journey to the Beach
Travel across Boa Vista to reach the protected nesting beaches on the southeast coast of the island.
During the journey, the guide introduces the life cycle of the loggerhead turtle and the conservation efforts on the island.
Return to Hotel
After the observation, the group returns to the hotels.
